|Be a Servant to all – The gift of yourself|
If you could only sense how important you are to the lives of those you meet; how important you can be to the people you may never even dream of. There is something of yourself that you leave at every meeting with another person.

The Calhan Lions Club is sponsoring Kids Spree on Saturday, August 6 at the Falcon Walmart and we need your help.
Shoppers—take a child shopping for school clothes on the day of Kids Spree. The time commitment is from approximately 7:30-11:30. The kids come at 3 different times during the morning.
School supplies— deadline for donations is Tuesday, August 2.
- 1 inch 3 ring binders · Filler paper (college and wide rule)
- Colored pencils · Pencils
- Backpacks · Mechanical pencils
- Cash donations—the Calhan Lions’ Club Foundation is a 501c3 organization so your donations are tax deductible. The cost of shopping for 100 kids is approximately $10,000. This is funded by grants and donations. Kids Spree is a yearly event that helps kids get new school clothes and supplies that they would otherwise be unable to afford.
If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, please contact Ginger at
