ings that are happening at St. Paul this summer
Friday, July 15th – Calhan SummerFest – 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm There will be lots of fun activities including great food and music. This kick starts the El Paso County Fair.
July 16th – 23rd – El Paso County Fair
Sunday, July 17th – Calhan Fire Department Breakfast – 7:00 to 11:00 am Come to join them before coming to church.
On Sunday, July 17th Bishop Gonia will be here to celebrate our ministry together. There will be a potluck after service for everyone.
Kidspree will be at the church again this year, which will be the first part of August. This is put on by the Calhan Lions Club with Lion Ginger Flynn spearheading this event.
To finish off the summer, our Beer and Brats Festival will once again be in full swing in September. There is more information to come on the exact date and times. If you would like to help in any way, please contact Diana Strobel or any person already on the committee.
Servant Opportunities…
Share your talents in a variety of ways in which you can be of service. Maybe you have a talent in reading, or in offering prayers, in singing, in ushering, or in setting up for communion. Maybe it’s a new way to help that we haven’t thought of. If you would love to help and to serve in any way during this most unusual time, just let Karen or Pastor know or just write your name on the signup sheeet in the narthex.

FELLOWSHIP following services
Come and join us for some great refreshments and that special time to visit with one another. The 4th Sunday is always Potluck, so bring your favorite dish on that Sunday.

St. Paul Preschool…
Are you looking for a Christian-based, nurturing, and caring learning experience for your three, four, and five years old, then St. Paul Lutheran Preschool is for you. We would love to also provide an afternoon session. Please call if you are interested.
Register now and get your child registered for the 2022-2023 school year as slots do fill up quickly. Our preschool runs Tuesday – Friday. You can enroll in 2, 3, or 4 days. To find out more and to enroll your child, please click here .

Preschool Program Director…
St. Paul Lutheran Preschool in Calhan is looking to hire an experienced Program Director. The Preschool will hold classes Tuesday through Friday, with a maximum of 15 students per class. It’s a fun time to just get together with two other couples/individuals and enjoy a meal and time together to just visit.

BIBLE STUDY…You have two opportunities for Bible Study.
In-Person Bible Study…
Dee Ozburn is again leading a bible study on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays. They will be from 1-3 in the afternoon and will be at Phyllis Kaufman’s home.
