Adult Forum in November…
Exploring the Advent hymns.
Please feel free to join us on November 7, 14 and 28 for a closer look at the history and meanings of our most-loved Advent hymns. Monday evenings at 7pm at the home of Cindy Henry.
Come join us every 3rd Sunday for our Integenerational Sunday School. We always have a potluck just prior.

Giving to our local community Holiday Giving and Toy Drive
If you would like to donate to our local community Holiday Giving for those in need, please just drop your donation into the box in the narthex.
TOY DRIVE.. We are also collecting new or gently used toys for our community Toy Drive. Just brings those and drop in the toy drive box in the narthex.
Thanksgiving Eve Service..
Our community Thanksgiving Service will be held at the neighboring United Methodist Church beginning at 7:00 pm.
11th Annual Christmas Store
Summer is behind us and now as we continue into the Fall season, before the snow really flies, we will be hosting the Christmas Store at Simla Good Samaritan on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 3 p.m.
We donate new and slightly used items to the 28 residents so they have an opportunity to go Christmas shopping – for free – for their family, friends or themselves right there at the center. It is an event that they look forward to each year. To find out what is needed, click here.
Please drop off your donations in the Christmas gift-wrapped box that will be in the Narthex beginning November 6. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Sally, Andrea or Carolyn.
On December 5, we will gather at the church at 2 p.m. to load up the donations to take to Simla and display them so the residents will be able to begin shopping at 3 p.m. Volunteers are needed to assist the residents so just let one of us know if you would like to be a part of this celebration. Look for a list of items in our weekly church bulletin.
