Be sure to join us on Sundays as we move into our Advent Season. Come and join us in the reading of scriptures, hymns, and communion. Our service begins at 10:00 am. All are welcome.

A New Parking Lot

St. Paul is getting a new parking lot. We are so excited.

Good Samaritan’s 15^th Annual Christmas Store…

is a go this year but with a different look. We are teaming with Calhan United Methodist Church to put together individual bags for each resident. All items must go through a cleansing process at Good Samaritan before they can be used as gifts. If you would like to support and make a monetary donation we can do the shopping for you. Holiday Food Baskets…

are being distributed again this year by the Eastern Plains Community Pantry. If you would like to contribute checks can be made out to St. Paul Lutheran Church with a note for the holiday food. Money can be placed in the offering plates or dropped in the offering box.

Angel Angel Program…

as we move into the Christmas season, St. Paul always supports the Angel Angel program sponsored by Eastern Plains Community Pantry and the Calhan Lions Club. This program provides an opportunity for our teenagers to receive a gift. If you would like to be a part of this program, please contact Carolyn Gardner, Deb Drew or the church office.

Servant Opportunities…

There are a variety of ways in which you can be of service. Maybe you have a talent in reading, or in offering prayers, in singing, in ushering, in setting up for communion, in calling others, or even picking up groceries for someone in need. Maybe it’s a new way to help that we haven’t thought of. If you would love to help and to serve in any way during this most unusual time, just give Andrea or Pastor Harvey a call at the church.

Advent Evening Service

Come join us for this special service on Wednesdays, December 2nd, 9th, and 16th at 7:00 pm. We will be using the Holden Evening Prayer Service by Marty Haugen. This lovely setting of vespers tells of the coming of Jesus.
