St. Paul Lutheran Church of Calhan began in 1909. Through the years the church has undergone many changes, and seen its congregation change from the charter members to the current congregants who call this their church home. The roots of our church began with Slovak families, many of them farmers and ranchers, settling the area around Calhan.
