National Foster Care Month and National Awareness Mental Health Month
This year the Social Ministry Committee chose to support Royal Family Kids with the Lenten Offering. Royal Family Kids is an international program that helps to give foster kids a life changing week of camp. We are supporting the local RFK camp in Colorado Springs and El Paso County. These children have endured some of the most horrifying abuse situations before being placed into foster care.
We set a goal of trying to raise $2000 to send 4 kids to camp this summer. Not only did you all meet that goal, but you exceeded it. The last day for collecting the Lenten Offering is April 30, so we don’t have a final amount yet. We currently have over $3000!!! We can now send 6 amazing children to camp this summer.

Yes, St. Paul Lutheran Church has a committee studying possible ways to expand the church building. Although the church has a building fund set up, $19,695 won’t get us much of an expansion with today’s cost. Please consider making an additional giving each time you make an offering, designating that portion for the building fund.
